Most Effective Article Distribution Strategies
You just finished writing the best article in the world, but now what? Keep in mind the purpose of an article is to add value and drive traffic back to your site. So you must use these article distribution strategies to maximize your traffic.
You can submit them to article directories. Article directories like Ezine, GoAticle, Isnare, Myarticle, Buzzel, and IdeaMarketers are some of the most popular and heavily viewed sites, but there are literally hundreds if not thousands of sites you can submit to. Make sure you submit in the right categories so you will get targeted traffic back to your sites.
Don’t forget to add your article to your blog or website. Adding new and unique content on your blog will help you rank higher in the search engines. Warning!!! Don’t copy and paste your article to your blog and to article directories… Google sees it as duplicate content and while you will get traffic from the article directory you will NOT rank in google. Make sure you rewrite it.
Once you have a few articles on the same subject it is time for you to create your own Ebook. It is not hard at all. Simply put together a few articles.. you may have to rewrite them a little to make sure they go together or put them into chapters. Then save the file as a pdf and bam! You just created an ebook. Now you can give it way on your blog by having people sign up or you can sell it. So you help people while building your email list. This is a win-win strategy.
Use a handful of articles and create an email follow up series. You can use it to teach. Call it a boot-camp or training course and again give it away or charge, but have people sign up to get it and again you will build your email list while helping others with your articles that you wrote.
You can guest blog to get your articles distributed. Blogging is a community affair not just a one man show. Make sure you build relationships with other bloggers in the same niche as you. Contact them and ask if you could guest blog and they may guest blog on your site. This will let you share traffic and build relationships in your niche. There is power in unity. Contact a handful of other bloggers per day and you will start to notice a good portion of them will let you guest blog because they like unique content to share with their readers. Link back to your site and traffic will come.
Another form of guest blogging is weekly roundups. Search in google {“weekly link roundup” + (keyword)} like anxiety attacks… This will give you a list of blogs that do what they call weekly link round ups. What they do is add a list of articles they like to give to their readers as good reads for the week. All you have to do is contact them asking if you could be added to their weekly link roundup. Give them your link and tell them if they see value add me to your list. Do this consistently and other bloggers will start to add you to their lists. This will drive more traffic and again build better relationships with other bloggers in your niche. Remember its better to fight together than being right
Use these article distribution strategies to help you drive targeted traffic back to your site and help your readers solve their problems.
